Appearance: A young-looking 40. Slightly overweight. Shoulder length mop of messy brown curls. Usually clad in eye-hurting, mismatching and ill-fitting examples of the latest fashion.

History: Stumbling drunkenly through life since her teenage years, Edina’s never really been satisfied with her situations. A struggle with her weight, which has steadily remained two stone too high, has consumed a great deal of her life, as has her quest for true love – or at least, for a quick shag with someone rich. She has been married twice, birthed two children, and divorced twice; her first husband was heavily dependant and very short, and her second divorced her to move in with a man. She is now head of a PR company, with a few sidelines in collectables and interior design, rich off child support from both ex-husbands, a proud alcoholic and living with her disapproving university age daughter.
